So yesterday I was in a good mood and had plenty of time to kill. Factoring in the fact my cukes have been piling up, I decided it was a good day to make pickles. I've made refrigerator pickles before but I'd never went full-bore with "puttin' up" pickles. But I was in an adventurous mood so what the hell? I'm not posting the recipes yet (chose a solid looking one and adjusted it slightly for each jar) because I don't know how they'll turn out. In the meantime, however, I thought I'd post some pics.



I picked out about eight pounds of the best-looking candidates and washed them thoroughly.
