Holy rotting brains! It's Zombie Friday again!

Last week was an off week due to technical reasons and jargon having to do with the specs on the server being overclocked... to the... megs...

Ok. I ran out of time. my bad.

But I've got good news! Not only is this blog the number one Google result for "zombie friday", "zombie friday" is now a term that the Google search will auto-complete for you! Freakin' sweet!

It's a mixed bag this week, so let's see what we've got...

Ah, the Japanese. I have a fascination with this great culture. They have given us great things: sushi, anime, electronics. They have also given us not-so-great things: tentacle rape, creepy quasi-pedo anime and Namahage. Ah, yes. The great tradition of Namahage, or, as it is properly translated, "scaring the ever-loving shit out of your children". Recall a few Zombie Fridays ago when a young man was hypnotized into thinking he was under attack by zombies? Well, this is a segment from a Japanese television show that does the exact same thing.

Except with little kids.

You can see the actual psychological scarring taking place.

And then we wonder why Tanaka-san will grow up to be a tight-laced sarariman who masturbates furiously to anime and hates his parents.

This week I became aware of what can only be a cinematic masterpiece starring Treat Williams as a detective who becomes a zombie and has to solve his own murder. Oh, yeah. His wise-cracking partner is Joe Piscopo, or as he is more widely known, the only SNL alum whose comedy causes cancer. Check out the awesome production value in the trailer:

Who doesn't love lolcats? Communists, that's who! Thanks to Irish Girl for bringing these adorable grammatically challenged felines to the zombie party!

That wraps another Zombie Friday! Keep the submissions and discoveries coming. Maybe I'll actually get around to a movie review next week!
