Last week was an off week due to technical reasons and jargon having to do with the specs on the server being overclocked... to the... megs...
Ok. I ran out of time. my bad.
But I've got good news! Not only is this blog the number one Google result for "zombie friday", "zombie friday" is now a term that the Google search will auto-complete for you! Freakin' sweet!
It's a mixed bag this week, so let's see what we've got...
This week, Something Awful featured a series of political cartoon drawn by one of it's resident contributors. While they were all great, the one that caught my eye was a depiction of President Obama portrayed as Ash. Gotta love it, man.

Ah, the Japanese. I have a fascination with this great culture. They have given us great things: sushi, anime, electronics. They have also given us not-so-great things: tentacle rape, creepy quasi-pedo anime and Namahage. Ah, yes. The great tradition of Namahage, or, as it is properly translated, "scaring the ever-loving shit out of your children". Recall a few Zombie Fridays ago when a young man was hypnotized into thinking he was under attack by zombies? Well, this is a segment from a Japanese television show that does the exact same thing.
Except with little kids.
You can see the actual psychological scarring taking place.
And then we wonder why Tanaka-san will grow up to be a tight-laced sarariman who masturbates furiously to anime and hates his parents.
This week I became aware of what can only be a cinematic masterpiece starring Treat Williams as a detective who becomes a zombie and has to solve his own murder. Oh, yeah. His wise-cracking partner is Joe Piscopo, or as he is more widely known, the only SNL alum whose comedy causes cancer. Check out the awesome production value in the trailer:
