The scene opens on a men's room. A bathroom attendant sits by the sink. A man exits a stall and goes to wash his hands. At the last second he notices an "Out of Order" sign on the sink. The man sighs and starts to leave the bathroom when the attendant asks him why he didn't wash his hands. The man says that the sign says the sink is out of order. The attendant insists that the sink works and that it's the sign that is broken. They argue briefly and the attendant uses the sink to wash his hands. The man agrees that the sink is indeed working but how can a sign be broken? The attendant explains that if the sign were really working he wouldn't have tried to wash his hands.
